The New Mexico 988 Lifeline offers free, confidential support to people who are experiencing any emotional, mental, behavioral, suicidal, or substance use concern 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

         Formerly known as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, the National 988 Lifeline consists of a network of over 200 local crisis centers that combine local care and resources with national standards and best practices. 

         In New Mexico calls, texts, and chats to the 988 Lifeline are answered by the local New Mexico Crisis and Access Line.
